a long weekend was upon us, and away we drove to nashville. our first stop was lunch at the silly goose. this deserves its own post because, aside from the many (okay, four) couscous dishes they offered, we really enjoyed the flavors, the drinks and the ambiance.
- rosemary lemonade
- orange-apple cider black tea
- king kong (sesame couscous with curried shrimp, mint, ginger, cashews, coriander, avocado)
- albert prince (organic quinoa, sweet potatoes, black beans, spiced pepitas, tomatillos, manchego, caramelized orange vinaigrette)
they were big servings, but did not feel heavy in the belly.
more to come on our first-time nashville visit. stay tuned!
